Whirlpool Corporation’s Amana Division is nestled in the picturesque valley of the Iowa River in the heart of the Amana Colonies- located 21 miles southwest of Cedar Rapids and 20 miles Northwest of Iowa City.

Our two-million square foot facility is located in the heart of the Amana Colonies, a historic area popular with toursits. Amana continues to operate in the same location where it started production over 75 years ago, in a former woolen mill in Amana, Iowa. The current facility includes the original smokestack built in 1888. Our dedicated workforce takes pride in continuing the tradition of building a quality product, the hallmark of the Amana name.
