Spectator Sports

“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” actually means something in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor.  Spend a night at out at the Kernels, the Class A Affiliate of the Anaheim Angels, or in the winter months, catch a game of hockey with the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders, a USHL hockey team.  Oh, and we can’t forget to mention that Iowa City is home to the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, a member of the Big 10 Network, which is great for catching football games, golf, volleyball and more!  And if you have a free night in the Corridor, mark you calendar to catch a rugby or rollerderby match, both growing spectator sports!
